I'm back in school for one final year, hard to believe! So the film begins, my film is about one of my childhood experiences about over-coming fears and taking the time to look closer and in doing so finding something really amazing! Here's my first try at the main characters in my film.

I recently did this for an art show in BC, the theme of it was cover art, so of course I jumped at the idea to do it based on my all time favourite TV show, Boy Meets World. I love the characters in that show, so it was fun to caricature them. I drew it out first them painted it in photoshop thanks to the help of Ben's tablet...mine is back in Ontario. Hope you like it.

Well, the third year films are finally finished, I am happy to say that our film...THE CELESTIAL OX film is completed, all coloured and composited. We all worked together really well and for many hours, right up till the very end. I wish I could do it again, on the whole, I had a great time and worked with an amazing group of people! So here is my scene for the film (low res because it couldn't fit in high), I designed and painted the BG and animated all the characters and trees except for the ox group at the end, which was done by Andy. Thanks Mocaps, I had a blast!

The real deal in florence (picture I took this summer)
I caricatured the buildings on Ponte Vechio Bridge, they always appeared to me as if they were going to fall off the side of the bridge at any minute!

In 3rd year we all make group films, my group is called moCap Penguins, and we are doing a story of how the ox came to be on earth. So far we are all doing concept sketches, here's one of many ideas for our film.

Over the summer I worked at Espresso Legato in Bowmanville, an awesome coffee, and here you would meet all kinds of great people. I will never forget this experience, and that making coffee really is an art of its own.
